Personal Genome Project

PGP Community

Volunteers

PGP participants volunteer to share their DNA sequences, medical information, and other personal information with the research community and the general public for the benefit of society. We plan to incrementally expand enrollment to 100,000 informed participants.

As an open research project, we expect the experiences of volunteers enrolled in the PGP to have tremendous educational value.

For Researchers

The PGP is a collaborative research endeavor involving scientists from around the world. We encourage researchers who have specific scientific topics that might benefit from a large consented dataset of genomic and phenomic data to contact us. Large cohort and population studies, planned or already underway, are also an area of interest for the PGP.
