PersonalGenomes.org is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization whose mission is to serve as both the pioneer and the global ambassador of emerging genomic technologies and knowledge that will positively impact the health and well-being of humankind.
This non-profit coordinates international "public genomics" efforts, including PGP-Boston and a growing list of PGP research centers being set-up in other countries. PersonalGenomes.org provides basic infrastructure -- consent forms, open genomic annotation tools, educational content for the general public, annual meeting support, fundraising, and software to this federation of research studies. It also coordinates with a variety of other non-profit and for-profit groups involved in open-access databases, phenotyping and sequencing.
